Presiding Judge David J. Schenck comes to the Court having served previously as a Justice on the Fifth Court of Appeals at Dallas, Chair of the Texas State Commission on Judicial Conduct, and Deputy Attorney General for Legal Counsel. He practiced appellate law in Dallas and Washington, D.C, and is a member of the American Law Institute. He is married to Natalia Schenck and they have two children: Margaret (12) and John (14).
